The best PDF reader I have used since I started reading PDFs in 1998 is SumatraPDF.
Lightweight, fast
loading, minimal resource hogging.

SumatraPDF v3.4 is the bomb! What a great piece of software by @kjk . The
custom-keybindings work like a charm!
I like SumatraPDF. Runs the circles in terms of
performance around the sad piece of crap that Adobe PDF
Reader has become.
If your Adobe reader croaks or feels glitchy while
scrolling, try Sumatra PDF instead. It will be almost like
opening a plain text document. Plus you can easily
highlight text.
