Hide the caption (`Shift + F8`)

View → Show Caption (CmdToggleCaption, Shift + F8) hides or shows the window caption to give the document more space. With it hidden, hover at the top edge to show the caption over the document; move away and it hides again. Tabs and session restore still work. The choice is saved as ShowCaption (true by default) (#6355).

The command palette’s settings list (=) shows a swatch next to color values, like the Advanced Settings dialog. While you type a color, its row previews the typed value.

Keep source line breaks in Markdown

With MarkdownUI.PreserveLineBreaks = true (false by default), the Markdown browser view shows each source line on its own line instead of joining lines into paragraphs. Code blocks keep their formatting either way (#6354).

Square grid cells when dragging; slant measured from the right
