Open RTF documents

Rich Text Format (.rtf) documents open as reflowable documents, with their formatting, tables, links, pictures and footnotes. Word headings become bookmarks. RTF saved under another name (e.g. .doc) opens too, and the installer registers SumatraPDF for .rtf in Open With.

Open Microsoft Reader (.lit) ebooks

Microsoft Reader (.lit) ebooks open like EPUB and MOBI, and the installer registers SumatraPDF for them in Open With.

Open CAJ files from CNKI

CAJ, KDH and NH files from CNKI open on 64-bit Windows. The first one asks to download the caj2pdf converter, which is later updated automatically; Don’t ask again sets NoCaj2pdfConverterDownload. The file is converted to PDF and cached in the SumatraPDF data folder. Convert CAJ to PDF… (CmdConvertCajToPDF, document context menu) saves the PDF (#6455, #6459).

HTML files open on their own

An HTML file now opens as its own document, while Markdown files still open with the other .md files in their folder as pages of one document. Its home page thumbnail is a picture of the page as shown, with its images (#6448).

Open the find history with `Alt + Down`

Find History (CmdFindHistory, Alt + Down) opens find, in the find bar or the floating window, with its list of recent searches dropped down. In the find field, Alt + Down and Alt + Up open and close the list.

EPUB metadata in Document Properties

Document Properties (Ctrl + D) of an EPUB also shows its publisher, identifier, source, language, dates, copyright and description (as Subject, with its HTML markup removed). A foo.opf file next to foo.epub overrides the metadata inside the EPUB.
