On a touch screen, long-press a word to select it. Drag handles appear at both ends of the selection so you can extend it with your finger (#538).
HTML files open in the browser view
Standalone .html / .htm / .xhtml files now open in the same WebView2 view as Markdown, so they look much better than before. The Table of Contents lists every HTML file in the folder, with the headings of each (#2941).
File type in Document Properties
Document Properties now shows the file type, based on the file’s actual contents rather than its extension. For example, a PNG saved as .jpg is reported as PNG.
